Homework Club is a virtual meetup that focuses on building community and holding people accountable in their creative practice. The meetup asks visual-artists / designers to devise a small-scale project to be completed within 2 months time. Participants then meetup twice a month until their project is due. The structure helps creatives stick to their project milestones and personal goals, especially helpful in the Covid-19 era. The meetup also acts as a valuable networking tool and promotes collaboration.
I came up with the concept while trying to imagine what would genuinely help creatives during a time of isolation. Being my pet project, I developed the art direction, illustrations and motion graphics to promote the meetup.
Below are the various social media motion graphics I created for the project.
